Gestión de la recreación- animación en el municipio "Julio Antonio Mella" de Santiago de Cuba

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to propose a program for the management of recreation-animation in the “Julio Antonio Mella” municipality. The research is qualitative in nature by making an assessment of the natural, historical and cultural potential, as well as the most significant problems related to the management of recreation-animation, which led to the proposal of a management program for recreation - animation in the “Julio Antonio Mella” municipality. Theoretical methods such as analysis and synthesis, systemic-structural, induction-deduction and empirical methods such as scientific observation, interviews with tourism managers and local historians were used. Among the conclusions, it was obtained that the municipality "Julio Antonio Mella" has physical-geographical and socioeconomic characteristics favorable for the development of tourist activities, evidenced in the deployment of the diagnosis related to the current state of recreation-animation management. The municipality has various resources and tourist attractions with natural, historical and cultural value of interest for the development of tourist activities, which led to a proposal for a recreation-animation management program with important integrated actions that contribute to sustainable development towards 2030.
