Multivariant analysis: A tour through dimension reduction methods

Abstract

This article integrates analyzes, and applies the main dimension reduction techniques, developed to analyze multivariate data. The proposed objective of this work was to bring out the wide variety of options and highlight the advantages they offer according to the type of analysis intended and the nature of the data under analysis. The article covers the method for studying a two and three dimensional matrix, the method for studying relationships between two and three dimensional arrays; in addition, the graphs resulting from applying each method are presented, environmental and biological data taken by INOCAR in Esmeraldas, Manta, La Libertad and Puerto Bolívar were used.
